Download DetailsThe performance of a student at the end of each semester is indicated in terms of Semester Grade Point Average (SGPA). SGPA is calculated for candidates who have passed all courses in that semester. Cumulative Grade Point Average (CGPA) will be calculated from the II semester onwards, up to the final semester.
Award of Class

| First Class with Distinction | 7.0 or more* |
| First Class | 6.0 or more but less than 7.0 |
| Second Class/Pass | 5.0 or more but less than 6.0 |
* First class with Distinction will be awarded only to those students who clear all subjects in their first attempt.
Punishment System for Malpractice
To maintain fairness and integrity in the examination process by discouraging and penalizing the use of unfair means.
Answer sheet cancelled (0 marks), warning letter, undertaking not to repeat the act.
Exam in that subject cancelled (Fail), barred from appearing in the next attempt of the subject, parents informed.
Entire examination cancelled (Fail in all subjects), debarred for one academic year, recommendation for FIR in serious cases.
Immediate expulsion from exam, suspension as per disciplinary committee, legal action if necessary.
Appeal Procedure: The student may appeal in writing to the Examination Committee within 7 working days. The committee's decision will be final.
